Welcome to the Hot Guest for October: Molly Devon

1 GloriaBrame         2002-10-02 17:14

Folks, please join me in welcoming our fabulous October Hot Guest, Molly Devon. Molly is an author, artist, publisher, and leatherwoman. Most of you already know that she is co-author (with the late Philip Miller) of SCREW THE ROSES, SEND ME THE THORNS, one of the most popular titles by and for BDSMers. These days Molly devotes much of her energy to Mystic Rose Books, a BDSM small press which publishes works by Molly, Viola Johnson and Laura Antoniou.

Molly, thanks for doing this! I can't wait to follow the fascinating conversations I'm sure will take place this month.

hugs,

Glory

Thank you, Gloria

I suppose people may be curious how I entered the scene. One dark and stormy night, while returning from a meeting of the PTA committee to amend the amendments to the revised prelimonary by-laws dazed by the brilliance of the rhetoric of its members I took a wrong turn. Many wrong turns later I sought directions at a strange house at the end of a dirt road...

Well not quite but... you never know where you'll find one of us, do you?

Hi Molly :) Its good to have you "back" again since Mystic Rose Book Day in Greenville. Hope that things have gone well for you and that Laura has "The Reunion" in your hands soon lol. Welcome to the best damn spot on the net.

Hey Justin,

Nice to see you here. You L.O.C.K folks without question have the best hospitality of any place I have been. I'm well. No one here has any burning questions for me?

Molly

HI! Welcome aboard. Read the book (gee, how many times have you heard that?) and have some questions!

Hi Molly, and thanks for coming to our little space on the web. I'm definitely looking forward to following your discussions :)

We spoke once before, when you visited Kali Ward's PEP group in Buffalo about two years ago (I doubt you remember me since we only spoke for a few minutes, but I'm the nut who drove down from Toronto with my then-sub girlie, making us the only cross-border, international pervs in the place!). The sub-girlie and I have since parted company, Kali and pj have moved to Vegas, of all places, but the invite to c'mon up to Toronto still stands :)

I have a burning question for you -- any thought to updating Screw The Roses?

Craig

I think about it. Problem is, if I edit a lot will it still be the book Philip and I wrote together?

Noooooooo ... not a rewrite! Shoot, don't change a word. I was thinking more the contacts and appendices at the end :)

Craig
